Credit unions make a difference. Like other credit unions, Eastern Financial was formed for the sole purpose of providing financial services to its owner-members. With that in mind, the Credit Union serving Eastern Airlines employees opened with 10 members and $475 in deposits on February 7, 1937.

All of our employees are required to go through extensive member service training, helping them to become better attuned to your needs. And the hard work pays off: In regular surveys, 98% of members say they would recommend us to eligible friends and family members.
We also give you lower rates on loans and higher rates on deposits rates that other financial institutions simply cannot match. Our fees and charges for extra services are typically lower, as well, but our products and services are just as advanced and high-tech as those offered by larger institutions. In addition, in 2006, Eastern Financial was voted one of the Top 25 medium sized companies to work for in the United States.
